This past week, Jo and I ventured out to Everland for a little fun- this was after hanging out with several friends at Caribbean Bay, one of the best water parks in Korea. While the water park was fairly crowded, the amusement park was not. In fact, when we arrived, lines for the most popular rides were less than 30 minutes long… and that was for the front seats.
I had originally wanted to take the GoPro Camera onto T-Express, the best coaster there, but staff was a little over protective. They just didn’t want the camera (which was attached via the wrist mount) flying off. No worries, I can respect their call for safety. I will work out another way to film that coaster.
Before dinner, we headed back to the “American” area and rode the Rolling X. This coaster boasts two full loops and a nice corkscrew. Looking at the footage, I was amazed that while on the nearly two-minute ride, half your time is spent going up the first climb. That’s crazy! for viewing purposes, I cut that boring stuff out and left just the action!
This old school coaster really reminds me of growing up in Texas and heading off to Six Flags during the summer. What great times were those! Speaking of fond memories of youth? Did you visit theme parks when growing up? What did you like most about them?
