Ben asked on the last podcast why I teach in Korea, if I had ever thought about teaching in Japan, and if I plan to stay at the uni. I thought that was a great question, so on my way home from University the other day, I turned on the iPhone and recorded my answer.

Don’t take this the wrong way Steve, but I’m glad you’re staying put in Korea (at least for now). You’re honestly my number 1, go-to source for all things Korea. I’d miss your videos, write-ups, podcast, etc., on Korea if you left. So thanks for sticking around and satisfying my selfish desire. ha!

It’s easy to get jaded, especially if you’ve been here for a couple of years or longer,
but you still genuinely seem to love Korea, your job, your lot.

  Thank you my friend! I really do enjoy my life and what I do. I get such a good kick out of teaching. Plus Korea has been such a great place to explore and learn from.
  
  A long time ago, I had a position that I hated. I just found no point in staying in a job and being unhappy. So I made a change. Since then, I’ve always maintained that there will be good days and there will be bad days; however, if you do what makes you happy, then life will always be awesome!
