Working out!

When I was in college, I used to work out six or seven days a week. Nothing major, but I’d run for 2 miles and then lift some weights to keep myself toned. As time went on, I kept that pace through 2008, but when I moved to Korea, I let it slide. Now in 2012, I’m ready to get back on the horse again – not that I haven’t been exercising (I’ve been running and doing the stairs), but I want to get back in to running 3-5 miles a day and lifting some weights. A large reason why I want to do this is because I’ve seen some changes in my ability to perform some tasks… and I don’t like it! Plus, Christopher Mast has been on a challenge this year and it helped get me motivated.

This led up to a follow-up question:

I was wondering how much does an average gym membership cost in Korea, and are Koreans accepting of you working out at the gym? Do you often see women working out at the gym or are they for men only?
