Another Week…

FIGHTING!

The week has started and I have found myself with a ton of work that needs to be completed. With Jo gone, I’ve found myself distracted and unfocused. This needs to change! It’s true, that behind every great man, there is a greater woman… and I miss mine.

I was very happy with the way the Bali video turned out, but was a little surprised when a few people in the YouTube comment section mentioned how short the video was. Normally, I try to keep my videos under 5 minutes. Other travel videos in series have been in the 4-minute range, so this was only a little bit shorter, but I didn’t think it was that short. I’ll see if I can satisfy the director in me and make a slightly longer Jakarta set.

That being said, I spent a few hours yesterday transcoding the Jakarta footage and will begin that editing process this week. However, I’m a bit behind because of a few other projects. Today, I need to head into Seoul early for a meeting. We’ll see what becomes of the meeting, it’s something that has been in the works for over a month, and something that I all lost sight of, since schedules just didn’t seem to match up. I will also head into Itaewon on Wednesday to film an interview for one of my upcoming Korean projects.

With all these filming events, I haven’t had time to work on my Korean lessons. Something that I need to get back into doing ASAP. My current plan is to tackle the Talk to Me in Korean Lessons in their entirety (Level 1 and 2) before resuming Rosetta Stone. I love Rosetta Stone, but it takes some time to get things done. I can handle a podcast much more easily. I also need to get back into the gym routine. I went a few times last week, but couldn’t do any cardio, since my knees were still messed up from the Temple Stay. It’s my hope that this week I can resume running, but had to pass on things today. Sleeping in a big bed without Jo is taking a little more getting used to than I thought… and while I went to bed at 10pm last night…. I didn’t sleep until 2am. I’m too tired to go running and need to jump into the shower for my meeting!

OK, enough about me… How are you? What did you do this weekend?
